If you wish to save $5, $10, or even $15 a year on your domain, keep reading this post. There are three common mistakes I see people making when buying their domains. The best domain provider is the place to get your domain because there is a wide range of potential prices you could pay when purchasing a domain.

• The first error is to take the simple route and just buy your domain wherever you’re building your website. This may save you five or ten minutes when it comes to connecting wherever you purchase your URL to your website builder, but they’ll charge you five, ten, or fifteen dollars more if you buy your website wherever you’re either hosting your website or the website builder.

• The second frequent error I frequently observe people making is paying for privacy protection. Privacy protection is when you buy your URL, the domain registrar where you buy the domain essentially submits your contact information to a database that is just open to the public, and you don’t want that to happen. The problem is that a lot of people do this, so it’s a common mistake.

• The third common error I see people making is failing to check the renewal price. Some domain registrars will give you a really low price for year one but I imagine this website could be your brand or a business that you’re hoping will last for perhaps the rest of your life so you’re going to be paying for this year in and year out so saving a few dollars in year one and paying five, ten, or ten dollars a year extra for a year five, ten, or fifteen is

Now that I have many registrars’ websites open on my computer, we can examine the costs associated with buying a dot com domain. If you want to buy a.co,.org,.net or any other top-level domain, the results will be quite similar, therefore GoDaddy is my least preferred choice. If you’re purchasing it for two years, so if we click “Get It,” you’ll see what I mean. For example, what we currently see is “dot com” for 19 for two years, which will then renew for 38 dollars, or 19 per year, and “full domain protection” for 9.99, so if this is what you wanted, let’s just continue with this.
